Oktobererererfest

So this year the party wasn't at my house, but it was certainly a wunderschon German adventure. Last night, the monkey house up on Tunlaw hosted and a good, besoffene time was had by all. Full of German music and beer and dancing!

A touch of class...

Miss Robyn finally celebrated her brilliant birthday with a 'touch of class' party in her new apartment in Rosslyn. Between the boxed wine and sparkly dresses, I almost didn't know what to do...other than have a good time.

We made pigs-n-blankets, which the neighbors seemed to love in particular, and danced till there was no more cheese! It was also Emmeli's birthday, so I ventured from VA on the metro all the way out to AdamsMo and more specifically to Chief Ike's.


Needless to say, it was a late night.

Camden Yards

Finally convinced my brother to join me at a Red Sox - Orioles game. I hadn't been to Camden Yards before, but we certainly had a good time. There was even a big fight when Cabrera pitched at the batter's head. Good times.

Pool Party!

DC gets really hot in the summer. So I bought a kiddie pool for our back terrace. It's pretty sweet, and when you use a tarp like an umbrella over it, the water stays cool all the time. As everyone started to come back from their summer internships, we had a pre-school pool party and BBQ. It was one of the more entertaining nights. Can't wait to do it again!
