Queens of the Stone Age

Went to a big ol' rock concert in the Serenadenhof of Nuernberg on Tuesday night. It was kind of a whim, but Aimee, John, Paula, Dai & I had a blast. The opening band was Eagles of Death Metal, who "loved us hard." The musicians were all characters, and the music was one of a kind. Despite the massive mosh pit near the front, the venue was awesome. It was an inner courtyard with all standing room. That meant that we could get right up close and personal with the bands :) yay! I almost caught the EofDM's drumstick (btw...the drummer was a girl and was absolutely amazing!) but missed when it looked like it was going to hit me in the eye. doh.
