The Bonfire That Almost Was...

Well actually, that would be the bonfire that was. I just missed it by one day :p

Thursday was a very, very rainy day. But that didn't stop me from heading to Princeton. I even came back to DC to get Miss Emmeli. Unfortunately for us, it literally took 4 hours to get from D.C. through Baltimore. I've really never seen such bad traffic for such a long time. In Princeton, we met up with Bart and his friend, Ekkie, who had spent the week in NYC visiting. We left our thing's in Ryan's room and took off for samplers and burgers at Triumph (mmmm...I wish we had one in Georgetown!!!). While the rain bumped the Bonfire back a day, the night continued with an adventure on the Street and then back on campus :)

Today was beautiful, sunny and perfect for more excitement. On our way off campus, we stopped to watch the undergrads building the bonfire pyre. Then we had possibly the worst diner breakfast of all times. Seriously. Never fret, we stopped to fill up on gas and picked up snacks for the drive back south. Just before we hit Baltimore, Emmeli and I decided it would be a great time for spontaneous exploring. Ever heard of Cecil County Community College? Neither had we, but it was a fun stop nonetheless!
